Ankur Chadha is the founder of the Foxtail Group and the broker behind Foxtail Realty. He began his career in commercial real estate investment in London in 2007, transacting on more than £100M across multifamily, retail, industrial and office. In 2020 he relocated to the United States, became a licensed California broker (DRE# 02163100), and worked across syndication, fund management and investor relations.
Foxtail Realty came out of what he kept seeing on the buy side: investors committing to houses in markets they had never stood in, on numbers nobody independent had checked.
The out-of-state network is the answer to that, and it was built the slow way. Every agent, property manager, contractor and lender came through someone who had already transacted with them, was interviewed, then tested on real deals before any client was introduced. The ones who priced honestly and told a buyer to walk when the deal deserved it stayed. Most did not — which is why there is one preferred agent per market rather than a directory, reviewed deal by deal.
